BDA Gastroenterology Specialist Group

Members of the BDA can join the Gastroenterology Specialist Group (GSG) which holds study days on gastroenterology-related dietetic issues. The Group is currently working on a number of Consensus Statements for the dietetic management of coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn's disease.

Nutrition Society

The Nutrition Society was established in 1941 ‘to advance the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health'.

Membership of the Society is worldwide but most members live in Europe.
