Clinical management guidelines

The CDRC has compiled a summary of independent UK clinical management guidelines for adults with coeliac disease. Full copies of the guidelines can be accessed through the various professional organisations websites.

 

The CDRC and the Primary Care Society for Gastroenterology

The management of adults with coeliac disease in primary care imageThe Coeliac Disease Resource Centre has worked with the Primary Care Society of Gastroenterology to produce an updated set of guidelines, for healthcare professionals, in the care and management of adults with coeliac disease. The guidelines cover symptoms, treatment and the management of coeliac disease.

British Society of Gastroenterology

The British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) is a professional organisation of specialists in gastroenterology and exists for the promotion of academic and educational activities within the discipline. Clinical Resource Efficiency Support Team

CREST is a small team of healthcare professionals. The aims of CREST are to promote clinical efficiency in the Health Service in Northern Ireland, while ensuring the highest possible standard of clinical practice is maintained.

The guidelines for the management of coeliac disease have been produced by a sub-group of healthcare professionals chaired by Dr William Dickey.
