Paediatric Clinical Guidelines

A standard of care for the management of coeliac disease specifically in paediatric patients has been produced by the British Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. A full version of the standard can be accessed via BSPGHAN's website.

BSPGHAN provides professional leadership and promotes standards of care for children with gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional diseases.

Members of the Society develop standards of care for the investigation and treatment of children with gastrointestinal disorders and giving advice and support to implement child-centred strategies to deliver them.

The coeliac disease working group of BSPGHAN, in conjunction with an expert panel has been involved in producing a document entitled 'Gluten-free foods: a prescribing guide'.
