Dr Schär has been developing and producing gluten-free foods of the highest quality for more than 25 years. High safety standards require a flawless quality assurance system, which begins with rigourous inspection of raw materials and continues right through to the monitored transportation system. The Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring that requirements of various quality standards are met. The presence of quality assurance teams at dedicated gluten-free production sites ensures that the high-quality standards of the products are safeguarded and maintained.
Dr Schär's dedicated research programmes and sophisticated manufacturing processes have resulted in true innovation in the world of gluten-free foods. The Research and Development team work on specific projects which test raw ingredients, improve existing products and develop new ones. Nutritional, technical and sensory aspects all play an important role in the process.
