The three-day symposium in Amsterdam is divided into two parts: the "International Symposium" is mainly aimed at scientists and doctors who work in the field of coeliac disease. The programme for this part of the event offers a comprehensive update on the most recent scientific and clinical developments. The other part is a "Clinical Forum" which deals more with the practical implementation of the scientific findings. All professionals who deal with coeliac disease in their daily work are welcome at this event, for example dietitians, nursing staff or employees of coeliac associations, and also people affected by the condition who would like to update their knowledge on coeliac disease.

A one day symposium for health professionals, providing practical expert insights into nutrition and its growing influence in the management of key healthcare issues from birth through to old age. Coeliac UK's annual awareness week focuses on the theme 'Free for Tea?' this year. This forms part of Coeliac UK's eating out campaign which aims to improve gluten-free eating for people with coeliac disease. 'Free for Tea?' aims to mobilise people to hold events that raise awareness and get people talking about coeliac disease.
