Since 2003, Dr Schär has undertaken research at the Area Science Park in Trieste, a famous international science and technology park. The Dr Schär laboratory at the Area Science Park employs eight staff. These emplyees are research and development experts in the area of gluten-free food.
The location of the Dr Schär Research and Development facility has enabled the establishment of valuable scientific contacts, support for essential training and further training of staff, and collaborative projects using the very latest technology required. Since 2003 our Research and Development team have been able to undertake their own research projects, develop numerous new products and also further improve the recipes of our existing product range. Cooperation with research institutes and universities, and participation in specialist forums and working groups, means that Dr Schär always keeps up-to-date with the very latest developments. Our principles are quality and safety. Innovation and technological advances are what we work towards in order to ensure that we are always able to offer new and improved solutions.
