The Coeliac Disease Resource Centre (CDRC) is sponsored by Glutafin and supports healthcare professionals in the care of people with coeliac disease. The CDRC provides a wide range of quality resources, ensuring that healthcare professionals are kept up-to-date with the latest developments in coeliac disease and related areas.
                                                                                   

 The CDRC was launched in 1999 in order to assist healthcare professionals in developing their knowledge of coeliac disease and to provide them with materials that can be used in clinical practice. It provides a wide range of quality resources and aims to ensure that healthcare professionals are kept up-to-date with the latest developments in coeliac disease and related areas.

Since its launch the CDRC has been involved in the development of a number of key resources for healthcare professionals and patients including:

• Coeliac Forum, a twice-yearly publication, which updates healthcare professionals on current issues in coeliac disease and associated conditions. To view past issues or join the mailing list visit 'My CDRC'
• Gluten-free food prescribing guidelines for professionals and patients- outlining the recommended minimum gluten-free food prescription quantities
• The role of gluten-free foods in coeliac disease: the evidence- outlining the importance of compliance to improve symptoms and to help prevent long-term complications associated with coeliac disease
• The management of adults with coeliac disease in primary care- covering symptoms, treatment and appropriate management of the disease

In addition a number of resources have been developed to assist healthcare professionals in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements:

• Dietitians Learning Series (endorsed by the British Dietetic Association (BDA))
• Pharmacy Education Programme (with National Pharmacy Association (NPA) accredited learning hours)
